Best before
1 year upon opening. Unopened bottles can be kept up to 1.5 years from production date. When not using, kindly keep in the fridge for longer shelf life. These natural phyto-compounds are very sensitive to heat and sunlight; do keep them away to retain its best qualities.
STRETCHMARK oil blend is focused alot on phytosterols, which are unsaturated solid alcohols of the steroid group, found in fatty tissues of plants. Phytosterols are found primarily in nuts, seeds and grains, and are present largely in vegetable oils. When applied on skin, phytosterols reduce inflammation, encourage collagen formation and protect connective tissues from breaking down.
Collagen is an important protein that gives our skin structure, firmness and suppleness. By helping to strengthen skin tissues and simultaneously reducing inflammation, phytosterols encourage elasticity by stimulating collagen formation.
I have chosen oils of pracaxi, avocado, olive, camellia and fenugreek for their phytonutrient-dense richness and for their thousands of years use as an ancient wonder oil in each of their respective cultures. These oils have been used for food and cooking, skincare and oiling, and extremely safe plants/oil to use from babies to the elderly. By themselves individually, each vegetal oil possesses a remarkable array of minerals, nutrients and vitamins that are required for us humans. This makes it very nutritious and nourishing for our skin and body.
The star ingredients here are the unrefined pracaxi seed oil from the Amazonian forest and avocado fruit oil from Turkey. Pracaxi oil is traditionally used in the Amazon basin for reducing stretch marks, skin brightening and scar lightening. And avocado fruit oil is an extremely nourishing oil that has an impressive amount of rare compounds which help to increase water-soluble collagen content in the dermis (middle layer of our skin).
All in all, STRETCHMARK is a multi-purpose nourishing oil that is suitable for both men and women, and its a very nutritous and therapeutic body massage oil to use for healthy maintenance of supple, youthful skin. Its formulation (both non scented and scented versions) are safe to use on face and body. It is especially beneficial for women because of organic fenugreek CO2 extract which helps with women's hormonal problems and also with increasing breastmilk supply.
FYI, the scented version with essential oils + CO2 extracts are also chosen for their stretchmark prevention properties, therefore this version is also very beneficial for collagen and skin tissue reconstruction.
What to expect
Skin becomes stronger, healthier, and feels more elastic yet firm. For existing stretchmarks, you will see that their appearances will be less obvious after a month of daily application.
USAGE
For pregnant mothers: Apply on belly, breasts, thighs and bums daily for stretchmark prevention. Please use the original, non-scented version if you want to start from 1st trimester.Scented version is only safe to use after 2nd trimester.
For regular folks: You can choose the scented version for a more enjoyable aromatic experience. Also these add on ingredients are helpful for reducing stretchmarks and improving skin conditions.
As a body oil: Apply all over body and/or massage into existing stretchmark areas to stimulate collagen formation.
As a face oil: After cleansing and toning skin, use 2 -3 drops and massage oil onto face and neck. Recommended to pair up with organic rose hydrosol
as a toning floral water.
