TRADITIONAL TURKISH OLIVE SOAP

This is a classic and traditional olive soap made in Ayvalik, a coastal Aegean town in Turkey. Ayvalik is known to produce the best olive oil and soaps because the climate there makes the best condition for olive trees to thrive, and therefore producing the tastiest and superb quality of olive fruits. The oils are then pressed for sale, and some are reserved to produce the famous Ayvalik olive soaps which are popularly used by families and the people around this region. Unfortunately, this is also one of the dying arts in Ayvalik and it's handmade by small family businesses whose olive soapmaking skills are passed down from their Greek/Turkish ancestors.

I specially handcarry these olive soaps back from Turkiye for my eczema community because there is a lack of basic natural bath soaps and products in Singapore. These olive soaps are extremely moisturising + nourishing and also help heal dermatitis conditions.

Made with 3 natural ingredients: Pure unrefined Ayvalik olive oil (coldpressed), spring water, sodium hydroxide (also known as lye; an ingredient that has to be used in order for oils to saponify into solid form).

NO FRAGRANCE/PARFUM.

NO BOILING METHOD - I requested for these soaps to be cured/dried naturally. It does take a longer time, but it is better for skincare as no heat is present to compromise the quality of Turkish olive oil.

Just for your information, these soaps are handmade, handcut and therefore come in irregular shapes and sizes. The standard blocks weighs between 150g -170g and the sample sizes are 20g-30g.

RECOMMENDED FOR:

This soap is particularly useful for those who are having skin issues such as eczema, psoriasis, lupus, sensitive skin types, acne skin types, irritated inflamed or broken skin wounds, and also on babies and/or pets. It can be used all over body, on face, scalp and hair. Basically an all-in-1 soap.

STORAGE:

When using, please store in a dry location where water is able to drain away fully, eg soap tray dish.

When unopened, please keep in a cool, dry place, eg air con room, bedroom, drawers/cabinets etc. Away from moisture and pools of water.

SHELF LIFE:

These soaps can be kept forever when stored in a dry place.
