PERIOD PAIN

Finally, a natural remedy to help keep our ovary health happy! This precious herbal elixir helps regulate our menstruation cycle and also doubles up as a natural plant-based painkiller during terrible crampy moments.

Being a female myself, I used to have such painful cramps that I relied on ibuprofen for years because over-the-counter menstrual painkillers did not help at all. Along the way, I started to question my own body on this excruciating pain which I deemed as abnormal because I noticed other friends who have no or mild pain during their period. I also started to get worried about the side effects of strong painkillers into my system and did not want to risk it further.

This led me explore natural alternative ways for my cramps. I visited a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) physician who advised me to take an infusion made from ginger slices + unrefined black sugar every morning. I also started to use various combination of oils on myself; to alleviate the pain without the use of pills. Gradually but surely, just within 2 months of ginger tea and oils, I didn't suffer from bad period pains anymore.

PERIOD PAIN is a wondrous blend of eastern TCM and western herbs, put together from personal experience and also through my herbology studies. PERIOD PAIN is formulated to be a purifying and a warming women's tonic; meant to assist our body in regulating our hormones to be balanced, keep our womb healthy, and also helping to prevent growths of ovarian/uterine cancer cells, tumours and cysts. The CO2 extracts of angelica root (dang gui), lovage root (chuan xiong), hops and frankincense have been researched by medical science to inhibit cancerous cell growth; and based on TCM perspective - they are also especially healthful for the womens body.

What to expect

Apart from pain relief which comes in 15 minutes later, you may experience loose bowels on your first application. Not to worry, this is a good sign of your body removing toxins and bloatedness.  With monthly regular use, your cramps will gradually decrease, and you may also find your moodswings and hormonal acne complexion clearing up + menstrual cycle is also becoming more regular. Perimenopausal women may also feel less flushes.

  • Apply liberally and massage onto painful crampy areas. It takes about 10-15 minutes to take effect.  The oil stacks, meaning if 1 round of application doesnt seem to be enough, you may apply more for stronger pain relief.
  • Menopausing women may also find relief for their hot flushes and erratic hormonal changes.

  • Do not use during pregnancy or when trying to conceive.
  • Do not use while on any sort of hormone therapy, oral contraceptives or on IVF medications.
  • Not suitable for those who menstruates excessively - please see a gynaecologist or a health practitioner.
